Veruschka Guerra still lives and works in her birthplace of João Pessoa. A city of beautiful beaches in Brazil.
She was a arts teacher for 14 years and specialized in children’s illustration in Sarmede, Italy, in Fondazione Mostra Internazionale di Illustrazione per l'Infanzia Stepan Zavrel.
Veruschka has worked for more than 12 years in the area of children's literature, religious and coloring books, having illustrated over 40 publications in Brazil, the United States, Canada, Portugal, Spain and South Korea.
She finds inspiration in delicate details of the nature, angels, saints and loves traditional stories, so many of her books are based on fairy tales and legends.
Draws freehand and uses various techniques: watercolor, acrylic, ink, colored pencils, pastel, collages and embroidery.
The art for her is an instrument to inspire the kindness in the world.
